]]> श्री मनकामना सेकेण्डरी ई. बोर्डिङ्ग स्कूलको २३औँ वार्षिकोत्सव तथा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भव्य रूपमा सम्पन्नविराटनगर, फाल्गुण ९। श्री मनकामना सेकेण्डरी ई. बोर्डिङ्ग स्कूल, रानी–१५, विराटनगर ले आफ्नो २३औँ वार्षिकोत्सव तथा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम शनिबार भव्य रूपमा सम्पन्न गरेको छ। २०६१ सालमा स्थापना भएको विद्यालयले शैक्षिक गुणस्तर, अनुशासन र अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापलाई समान महत्व दिँदै आएको छ।कार्यक्रम विद्यालयका निर्देशक इन्द्र नारायण साहको सभापतित्वमा सम्पन्न भएको थियो। विद्यालयका प्रिन्सिपल ओमकार आचार्य, विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिका अध्यक्ष देवेन्द्र राय, वरिष्ठ लेखापाल अमित कुमार श्रेष्ठ, शिक्षक–शिक्षिका, अभिभावक तथा विद्यार्थीहरूको उल्लेखनीय उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।कार्यक्रमका प्रमुख अतिथि एभरेस्ट साइन्स सेन्टर नेपालका निर्देशक तथा कार्यकारी प्रमुख (CEO) डा. दिलिप अधिकारी रहनुभएको थियो। मन्तव्यका क्रममा उहाँले नेपालकै पहिलो साइन्स सेन्टरका रूपमा स्थापित संस्थाले २५औँ वर्ष मनाइरहेको उल्लेख गर्दै वैज्ञानिक सोच र प्रयोगात्मक शिक्षामा जोड दिनुपर्ने धारणा राख्नुभयो।“विद्यार्थीहरूलाई पाठ्यपुस्तकमै सीमित नराखी प्रयोग, अनुसन्धान र अवलोकनमार्फत सिकाउने वातावरण सिर्जना गर्नुपर्छ,” उहाँले भन्नुभयो। साथै विद्यालयका विज्ञानप्रति रुचि राख्ने विद्यार्थीहरूलाई सेन्टरमा सञ्चालन हुने विविध वैज्ञानिक कार्यक्रममा सहभागी गराउने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभयो।कार्यक्रममा स्वागत मन्तव्य विद्यार्थीहरूले नै प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए। सम्पूर्ण कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन, उद्घोषणा तथा सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति पनि विद्यार्थीहरूले नै गरेका थिए, जसले उनीहरूको नेतृत्व क्षमता, आत्मविश्वास र प्रतिभालाई उजागर गरेको विद्यालयले जनाएको छ।विभिन्न कक्षाका विद्यार्थीहरूले नृत्य, गीत, नाटक, कविता तथा सांस्कृतिक झाँकी प्रस्तुत गर्दै दर्शकको मन जितेका थिए। प्रस्तुतिहरूमार्फत हिन्दु धर्मका महान चाडपर्वहरूको संरक्षणको सन्देश दिइनुका साथै मुस्लिम र क्रिश्चियन समुदायका संस्कृति र परम्पराबारे ज्ञानमूलक सन्देश प्रवाह गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रमले धार्मिक सहिष्णुता, सामाजिक सद्भाव र राष्ट्रिय एकताको भावना मजबुत बनाएको सहभागीहरूले बताएका छन्।वार्षिकोत्सवका अवसरमा शैक्षिक तथा अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापमा उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन गर्ने विद्यार्थीहरूलाई प्रमाणपत्र तथा पुरस्कार प्रदान गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रमको अन्त्यमा सभापति साहले विद्यालयको निरन्तर प्रगतिको कामना गर्दै आगामी दिनमा अझ प्रभावकारी शैक्षिक तथा वैज्ञानिक गतिविधि सञ्चालन गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभयो।
